How to DEACTIVATE ADWORDS EXPRESS

Hello All,

DEACTIVATE ADWORDS EXPRESS

As you know you create your AdWords Express ad in your Google Places account. So, to edit or deactivate your AdWords Express ad you need to sign in to your Places account and deactivate it from there:http://support.google.com/places/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=1184982

BILLING/CHARGES

Be assured that once you deactivate your ad, you will not be charged for any new clicks. However, you will be billed for the clicks accrued until you deactivate your ad. This is because after you deactivate your ad it can take up to 30 days for the final bill to be generated. You can always confirm the clicks you accrued until you deactivated your ad on the Billing Summary Page[1]. This way you can be sure that you are not getting charged for clicks after you have stopped running your ad.

PLACES CAMPAIGN IN ADWORDS

Now coming to the Places campaign in the AdWords account. When you set up an AdWords Express ad, the system creates an AdWords account(if you do not already have one) with the same login email address, and sets up a Places campaign which is a read only version. This campaign cannot be edited. It has been set up to give you a detailed overview of your ad's performance by providing you with statistics such as clicks, impressions, CTR, average position, bids, keyword list and so on. Once you deactivate your ad in the Places account, this Places campaign should show a 'Paused' status in your AdWords account. In case you do not see this, please contact the AdWords Express support team for a detailed investigation:http://support.google.com/places/bin/request.py?&contact_type=express&rd=2

Further as mentioned by Theresa, the campaigns in the AdWords account cannot be permanently deleted. All the campaigns including the AdWords campaigns will remain in the AdWords account. This is because your historical account data is just as valuable to your ongoing advertising experience as your active campaign information. Therefore, this information remains with your account so that we can provide you with the best advertising performance possible.

However you can hide this campaign and view only the active campaigns in your account by clicking on the 'All Enabled' link under the Campaigns tab.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Sheetal M

if you log yourself out of drupal!

Often it happens that you do not add the username and login area to a drupal theme and log yourself out of drupal on your system.

First thing you should try is to type: http://localhost:8888/?q=admin, there are chances that your comp has remembered the password etc...

If this doesnt work,

type in http://localhost:8888/?q=user

Here you will find the username and password area that you can use to type your username and password and move in as admin!

What I learned:

How to use the Waveform display and Range in FCP while color correcting.

Converting Mono Sound to Stereo in FCP!

Found this wonderful video online at http://tufuga.net/2009/tutorials/mono-to-stereo-in-final-cut-pro/! I was having issues with my Zoom H2 when plugged into my camcorder. The sound was awesome but only mono. Then this video helped me get the sound in stereo!
